Cut and copy files and folders in computer/Laptop?
Moving and Copying files has been a great features in computer. It has allows user to make duplicate files or move files from one location to another. By this spectacular feature, we can also transfer files or folder to other devices like pen drive, smartphone, another computer, memory card, etc. We can also upload files to cloud network where we can easily access those files with the help of internet.
We can copy anything like video, music, documents(pdf docs), software, etc. In this page I am gonna show you how to copy and move files in computer/laptop. It is a very easy steps and quick process.
How to...? Step by Step Process
1. First of all open your computer and refresh few times.
2. Go the path of file which you want to copy/move.
3. Hover to the file and right click on your mouse, you will see this type of interface.
Right click on cut to move files without copying
Right click on copy to copy files ; it will create another same files
5. I will select copy as for demonstration.
6. Now the file is ready to be set.
Go to the location of folder where you want to cut/copy.
7. Click the right button of mouse and you will see many options.
8. Enter paste option there to cut/copy. You can clearly see in below illustration.
Congratulation! You have successfully move/copy flies.
This applies to folder also, the process is same.
Now let's begin with shortcut key
To copy enter ctrl + C = copy
To move enter ctrl + X = cut
To paste enter ctrl + V = Paste
