How to add Watermark and Page color in MS Word

Watermark feature is very essential features for any official Organization or for personal. We can see watermark in the document of some official organization as their main purpose is to prevent the theft of documents and to save their content from being copied for other uses. Well, To add watermark in the document is not a very big deal, we can easily add watermark in MS OFFICE.

Page color is also not a very thing. However, it is also not use mostly but we are going to learn about this a little bit. In this feature of Page color we can give any kind of color to the page that can be black, white, purple, yellow, red, green, etc.

Moreover, we can also decrease or increase its opacity and make it more versatile. We mostly use different color of page for just attraction or advertisement. For instance, In our country we used to get question paper for exam in different color pages which was so miraculous and attractive. We can also make it more beautiful using Gradient feature which use more than one color.

Today, We are going to learn to add watermark and color in pages.

How To...? Step by Step Process

1. First of all open MS word in your computer and type your document and go to design. You can see in the screenshot below;

2, After that you will see many option there. You have to go to right top for watermark option as shown in the screenshot below: Click there,

3. After that you will see this type of interface. In the bottom line you will see custom watermark. Note: You can also add ready-made watermark as you can see in the screenshot below. Ok For custom click custom watermark,

4. Then you have to check box the text water mark,

5. Now Type your any text you want to show in watermark. You can also apply different fonts size and color. Moreover, You can also select the diagonal or horizontal option. For diagonal, watermark will appear diagonally and for horizontal watermark will appear horizontally.

7. Now for adding page color, do same like for watermark. Go to display and go to right top you will see page color. In this section you can select any type of color ranging from red to blue, from 0 opacity to 1 opacity.

8. Here you can see my page color yellow. We can add any color in the page to make it unique and attractive.

9. You can also add gradient color in page. Just select Fill effect and you will see this type of interface. As color gradient is very attractive it makes page beautiful and creative. In color gradient we can mix 2 different colors. As shown in the given below screenshot you can see various options like color selection, transparency and shading styles. You can select anything you want for your personal or official purposes.
